Role Overview
The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between Product, Engineering, QA, and Impact Ops teams. The role involves requirement gathering, backlog management, sprint readiness, UAT coordination, and documentation across multiple workstreams within IANN. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication capabilities to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities
Requirement & Backlog Management
- Gather and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
- Work closely with Product Owner to define and prioritize backlog items.
- Conduct requirement workshops, clarify queries for Dev/QA teams, and ensure DoR compliance.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with Product, Development, QA, DevOps, and Impact Ops teams to ensure requirement alignment.
- Support feature demos, integrations planning, and cross-platform functionality tracking (FileGPS, Monitor, AI, Integrations).
Sprint Readiness & Documentation
- Facilitate grooming, planning readiness, and refinement sessions.
- Maintain updated epics, feature specifications, release notes, and process documentation.
- Support creation of UAT scripts, customer documentation, and functional guides.
Stakeholder & Client Interaction
- Participate in client calls, requirement discussions, and UAT cycles.
- Translate client needs into actionable user stories and functional specifications.
- Communicate release updates, scope changes, risks, and dependencies clearly.
Quality & Governance
- Provide functional walkthroughs to QA teams for test planning.
- Validate features from a business perspective before UAT and release.
- Support RCA discussions by providing business context and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5– 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Product/Platform teams.
- Strong experience in writing user stories, process flows, mockups, and functional documentation.
- Understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, data flows, and system interactions.
- Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Postman, etc.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and requirement‑clarification skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with products involving integrations (API Gateways, MQ, SFG, B2B platforms).
- Working knowledge of automation, monitoring, or AI-driven workflows.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models and release planning cycles.
