Job Requirements

GCP Infrastructure Management :

  • Design, implement, and manage the GCP infrastructure to ensure it meets the organization’s operational requirements.
  • Oversee the provisioning, scaling, and maintenance of GCP resources, including virtual machines, storage, databases, and networking components.
  • Monitor and respond to incidents/change requests and ensuring that the vendor teams resolve the issue as per standard operating procedure.

Cloud Security :

  • Implement and maintain security best practices to protect the organization’s data and resources on GCP.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Monitoring and Optimization :

  • Establish and maintain effective monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of GCP services.
  • Continuously optimize GCP resources to minimize costs and improve efficiency while meeting performance and capacity requirements.
  • Hands on experience with GCP Admin and strong understanding of GCP capabilities and limitations
  • Hands on experience with Terraform and Jenkins/Git
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution
  • Good understanding of data archive/restore policies
  • Thorough understanding of GCP AI/ML services
  • Python Scripting is must
  • Knowledge on any cloud technologies like IBM Cloud, Azure cloud, GCP and AWS cloud.(Big Plus)
  • Knowledge on IBM Maximo Application suite installation end to end process.(Big Plus)
  • Knowledge on SSO, LDAP and SAML configurations.(Big Plus)
  • Knowledge on databases like IBM DB2, MYSQL and Oracle databases.(Big Plus)
