Hybrid Integration COE Lead

Job Description

The Hybrid Integration COE Lead is a critical role responsible for spearheading the technology strategy, implementation, and governance within a Center of Excellence (COE) focused on hybrid integration. This individual will drive the adoption and optimization of integration solutions that seamlessly connect on-premises and cloud-based systems, applications, and data.

The Hybrid Integration COE Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, IT architects, and integration specialists, to ensure a cohesive and effective integration ecosystem. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in fostering partner relationships, supporting sales efforts, and expanding the COE’s capabilities

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy:

  • Develop and execute the COE’s hybrid integration technology roadmap, aligning it with the organization’s overall business objectives and IT strategy.
  • Research and evaluate emerging integration technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and suitability for hybrid environments.
  • Provide thought leadership and recommendations on integration architecture, patterns, and best practices.

Implementation and Governance:

  • Lead the selection, implementation, and configuration of hybrid integration platforms and tools.
  • Establish and enforce integration standards, guidelines, and governance processes to ensure consistency, quality, and security.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address any technical challenges or integration issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their integration needs and requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Partner with COE team members to promote the adoption and effective use of hybrid integration capabilities.
  • Communicate technical information and integration concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the COE, exploring new integration approaches and technologies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance integration efficiency, agility, and scalability.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in hybrid integration, incorporating them into the COE’s strategy.

Partner Strategy and Support:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors in the hybrid integration space.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint solutions, go-to-market strategies, and expand the COE’s service offerings.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to partners during sales engagements and implementations.

Sales Enablement:

  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop compelling integration solutions.
  • Participate in sales presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the COE’s expertise and capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring successful customer onboarding.

COE Growth and Development:

  • Identify opportunities to expand the COE’s scope and capabilities, aligning with evolving business needs and market trends.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of integration specialists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the COE.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience in integration architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on hybrid integration scenarios.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering successful integration projects in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, technologies (e.g., API management, iPaaS, EDA, Microservices, Cloud Native ), and data integration techniques.
  • Experience across various product stack supporting Hybrid integration but not limited to vendors such as IBM / Tibco/ Opensource/Webmethods/Oracle/SAP
  • Experience in establishing and managing integration governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing partner relationships.
  • Experience in supporting sales efforts and contributing to business development.
  • Experience in having led and grown large COE practices.
  • Experience across driving delivery teams across multiple timezones.
  • Having sufficient functional business domain expertise to Drive Offerings.
