IBM Maximo EAM Practice Lead

Job Description

The IBM Maximo EAM Practice Lead will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and execution of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) practice. This role requires a visionary leader with in-depth expertise in IBM Maximo, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions and exceptional client delivery. The Practice Lead will work closely with clients, business development teams, and technical staff to ensure the success of the EAM practice and the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership:

  • Define and execute the strategic vision for the IBM Maximo EAM practice, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of service offerings within the Maximo EAM space, ensuring they meet market demand and client needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Lead client discussions, presentations, and workshops to understand their needs and offer tailored Maximo solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving

    Technical Expertise:

    • Provide expert guidance on IBM Maximo implementations, upgrades, Migration, integrations, and customizations.
    • Oversee the technical design and architecture of Maximo solutions, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and meet client requirements.
    • Mentor and support the technical team in developing and refining their Maximo skills and knowledge.

    Team Management:

    • Lead and manage a team of Maximo professionals, including consultants, developers, and support staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of team members to meet project and support demands.

    Business Development:

    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Maximo EAM space.
    • Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, proposals, and client presentations.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential projects and clients to drive growth for the practice.

    Project Delivery:

    • Ensure successful delivery of Maximo projects, meeting or exceeding client expectations regarding quality, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Establish and maintain best practices for project management within the Maximo EAM practice.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • IBM MAS 8.x and 9.x experience is must to have.
    • 10+ years of experience in IBM Maximo EAM, with a proven track record of successful

    •  3+ years of leadership or management experience within an IT services or consulting environment.

    Technical Skills:

    • Deep expertise in IBM Maximo, including installation, configuration, customization, and integration.
    • Strong understanding of asset management principles and best practices.

    Leadership Skills:

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients at all levels.

    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
