Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Sterling Integrator (SI) solutions for complex B2B integration requirements.
- Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions using Sterling Integrator, considering scalability, performance, and security aspects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather integration requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Develop and maintain high-quality SI maps, business processes, services, and custom adapters for seamless data transmission and integration
- Configure and manage trading partner setups, communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP), and security configurations within Sterling Integrator.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, including performance optimization, error handling, and exception management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Sterling Integrator with other enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and logistics systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in B2B integration and Sterling Integrator, and recommend innovative solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization, automation, and efficiency enhancement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Sterling Integrator development and implementation
- In-depth knowledge of B2B integration concepts, protocols, and standards (e.g., EDI, AS2, SFTP, C:D).
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions using Sterling Integrator.
- Strong proficiency in developing and customizing SI maps, business processes, services, and adapters.
- Expertise in data transformation and mapping using various formats, such as XML, EDI, and flat files.
- Proven ability to architect scalable and secure integration solutions, considering performance and fault tolerance.
- Experience with Sterling File Gateway and its integration with Sterling Integrator.
- Solid understanding of integration design patterns, message flow, and error handling mechanisms.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyse and resolve complex integration issues.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and support junior team members.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., IBM Integration Bus, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
