Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sterling Integrator Lead to drive integration projects and manage end-to-end B2B/EDI workflows.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Sterling Integrator, Mapping (EDI/XML/Flat File), BPML, Lightwell Framework, and cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). This role requires strong leadership, hands-on development, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and implementation of EDI/B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI)
- Design and maintain mapping solutions (EDI, XML, flat files) for various trading partners and document types (X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
- Develop and optimize BPML processes to support custom business logic.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and define integration requirements
- Work in cloud environments to deploy, scale, and monitor integrations (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members and ensure best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot B2B transactions and system performance; handle incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security, and data integrity.
Requirements
- 8 to 15 years of experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (version 5.x and above).
- Strong experience in EDI mapping (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), XML, Flat files using Map Editor.
- Proficient in BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) for developing and modifying workflows.
- Experience implementing and customizing the Lightwell Framework (or similar EDI accelerators).
- Cloud deployment and operations experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of integration protocols (SFTP, AS2, HTTP, FTP, MQ, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of trading partner onboarding, communication setup, and error handling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway or IBM Control Center.
- Exposure to the Lightwell framework.
- Experience working with Retail, Logistics domains.
