- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounts Executive with a strong background in US Finance and hands-on experience in US Accounting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while adhering to US accounting principles and regulations. Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
- Handle tax-related activities, including sales tax reporting, state tax compliance, and assisting with the preparation of federal tax returns.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions to maintain accurate financial records across different entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Review and analyze accounting processes, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay updated with US accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Assist in external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors as required.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3-5 years hands on US Accounting {Accounts Receivables(AR), Account Payables(AP), GL, Taxation & Compliance}.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting must (B.Com/BBA) & Finance (MBA)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with tax compliance and familiarity with US tax regulations is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in working with cross-functional teams and external auditors is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CA/CPA or CMA are a plus but not mandatory.
