USA - Senior Sales Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive with a proven track record (15+ years) in enterprise B2B sales, specifically in GenAI, Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS solutions. This role offers a distributed-first environment, giving you the flexibility to work from home, an office, or a hybrid setup. You will lead our go-to-market strategy, build and mentor high-performing sales teams, and cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and partners to drive exponential revenue growth. This position also requires travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive growth in GenAI, Cloud, and SaaS solutions.

  • Identify emerging market opportunities in the AI ecosystem, creating plans to capture new clients and expand existing relationships.

  • Consistently exceed sales targets, accurately forecast revenue opportunities, and provide regular updates to senior leadership

Team Building & Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a dynamic, high-achieving sales organization, setting clear performance metrics and conducting regular coaching.

  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the sales team.

  • Promote sales best practices in a distributed-first environment, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with cross-functional team

Enterprise & Partner Engagement

  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level clients (C-level and decision-makers), particularly in GenAI and Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Collaborate closely with channel partners, system integrators, and other strategic alliances to deliver tailored, high-value solutions.

  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, ensuring customer success from initial engagement through implementation

Customer Advocacy & Product Alignment

  • Serve as the customer advocate, relaying feedback and insights to enhance product offerings and solutions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering to align solutions with evolving market needs.

  • Strategize with customers on change management tactics to ensure wide-scale adoption and lasting value realization

Territory & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and execute territory plans based on client business needs, leveraging data-driven insights for targeted engagement.

  • Manage the entire sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), accurately forecasting and correlating sales metrics to individual and team performance.

  • Quantify business impact of investment to deliver value-oriented proposals and presentations.

Thought Leadership & Industry Involvement

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, especially those focusing on cloud and AI.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to continuously refine the sales strategy.

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by taking ownership of challenges, supporting colleagues, and setting quality standards for deliverables.

Travel

  • Travel can be expected for client meetings, conferences, and industry events to drive relationship-building and opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 15+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience in Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, or DevOps-related solutions.
  • Proven record of surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth in high-growth startup or fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (7+ years) in building and managing high-performing sales teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong background in GenAI, Cloud Orchestration (Kubernetes, open-source, cloud-native architectures), and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management, SDLC tools, and digital transformation initiatives.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Ability to influence and engage C-suite stakeholders, articulating complex solutions in clear, value-driven language.
  • Prior success in nurturing strategic partnerships in AI, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps ecosystems.

Skills & Tools

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) for opportunity management, forecasting, and analytics.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills for evaluating risks, managing ambiguities, and driving data-driven decisions.
